President

Taylor is a Lyman Hall FFA alumni (1999). She served as Chapter Secretary and participated in the National chorus. She attended UCONN and received her associates degree in Equine Science and bachelors in Animal Science with a focus in genetics and reproductive physiology. She was part of the UCONN hunter/jumper equestrian and vaulting teams. She has served as the Branford town representative on the ASTE consulting committee and judges many chapter, state and regional CDE competitions. She is a substitute teacher at Wallingford schools and is a third generation gardener from Shelly’s Garden Center where she taught customers how to live with sustainable agriculture and farm on small acres. At her fox field farm homestead she teaches soft hands youth animal husbandry and promotes and supports the agricultural trades for the future of tomorrow.

Vice-President

Kerry is an LHHS FFA Alumni (2001). He served as Chapter student advisor, vice-president and co-president. He received his state FFA degree as well as the national H.O. Sargent award for promoting diversity. He competed in Ag-Economics and Parliamentary Procedure on the district level as well as Animal Science at the state level. After graduating he attended Cornell University where he received his Bachelors in Agricultural education as well as his mps in Learning, teaching and social policy. He then attended University of Illinois obtaining his masters in natural resources. He has worked at the national FFA headquarters, Lyman hall developing new Ag curriculum and he is currently working as a seventh and eighth grade science teacher in new haven.

Secretary

Jennifer is a Lyman Hall FFA Alumni (2003). She was chapter secretary for three years, received her state degree and placed 1st place-gold in Small Animal, Food Science and Dairy Science CDE’s. She competed nationally in both Dairy and Food Science where her teams received silver and gold awards. She served on the state officer interview committee in 2003. After graduating high school she attended SUNY Cobleskill where she received her associates in Animal Science and worked as a Veterinary Technician for 3 year before getting married and starting a family. Once her children were of school age, she went back to school to obtain her Bachelors in Early Childhood at Post University. Jennifer currently works as a preschool teacher in East Haven.

Sentinel

Kathryn is an Alumni of LHHS (1996) where, as a horse owner, she studied large animal science. She later attended Southern Connecticut state University and the New York School of Dog Grooming. She worked as a pet stylist for over twenty years including owning her own dog grooming salon. She has spent the past ten+ years working as a 911 dispatcher. She is the mother of 3 grown children and a senior in High School. She enjoys camping up North and all things outdoorsy but mostly spending time on her homestead gardening and tending to her animals. She is a firm supporter of the FFA.

Reporter

Siobhain is a proud LHHS FFA Alumni (1998) and the mother of a current ASTE student. During her time as an active FFA member, she served as Chapter Secretary for two years and earned her Greenhand, Chapter, and State Degrees. In addition to competing in Dairy Products Judging CDE, she took part in LDEs for Creed Speaking and was a member of the Parliamentary Procedure Team for two years. Siobhain is a Lifetime Member of the National FFA Alumni and a founding member of the Lyman Hall FFA Alumni and Supporters. She remains actively involved in supporting the program and helping create opportunities for current and future FFA members.

Treasurer

Mary is the mother of a current Lyman Hall ASTE student. She attended Southern Connecticut State University and has her bachelors in finance with a minor in marketing and management. She worked for several years as an investment advisor helping individuals and businesses plan for their future financial needs. She is a certified Connecticut municipal tax collector and served three terms as elected tax collector for the town of Branford as well as seven years for the city of Waterbury. She served for eight years as both vice-president and treasurer for Branford youth cheerleading. For the last ten years she has been a substitute teacher for grades k-12 in Branford. Although not an alumni she is a firm supporter and believer in what FFA stands for.

Historian

Dave is a LHHS FFA alumni (1998) and earned his degree in Agricultural Engineering from SUNY Cobleskill in 2001. He has built a career spanning more than two decades in equipment repair, automotive service, and parts management. He has served as Head On-the-Road Technician for Sears, managed service, parts, and shop operations at a dealership, held a leadership role in the service department at Guilford Saab, and managed the Ford Racing Performance Parts division at a Ford dealership. Dave enjoys restoring vehicles, tractors, and agricultural equipment. He and his wife are raising two children, and he is excited that his son will join the LHHS ASTE program in the fall of 2026. With a lifelong passion for agriculture, automobiles, and all things mechanical, Dave looks forward to supporting the next generation of agricultural education students.

Parliamentarian

Pebbles is a graduate of Suffield High School’s Agriscience Program and has dedicated a career to agricultural education and horticulture. she earned a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and a master’s degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Connecticut, followed by a Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. After teaching agriculture for 13 years, including 10 years in horticulture, she now serves as a Production Manager at a commercial greenhouse. her FFA leadership includes serving as a local chapter advisor for 13 years, Connecticut’s Interim FFA Executive Secretary, and an advisor to the Connecticut FFA State Officer Team. she remains committed to supporting agricultural education and inspiring the next generation of FFA members.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors brings together diverse experience in agricultural education, nonprofit leadership, education, and community service.

Meghan, a 1998 LHHS FFA alumni, combines her FFA background with decades of experience in event management, performing arts, and nonprofit leadership, remaining a passionate advocate for agricultural education and youth development.

Stephany contributes extensive experience in housing advocacy, public service, and civic leadership through her work with The Salvation Army, the Meriden Board of Education, and several community organizations.

Together, they provide valuable leadership, professional expertise, and a shared commitment to strengthening the Lyman Hall FFA Alumni & Supporters chapter while creating meaningful opportunities for current and future ASTE and FFA students.
